Sue received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from North Texas University, and did graduate studies at Texas Women's University.

She has studied with many well known artists such as Ed Whitney, Ruth Winn, Charles Reid, Carol Barnes, Judi Betts, Doug Walton, Don Andrews, Frank Webb, Arne westerman along with many talented local artists.  She feels fortunate that they have shared their talent with her.

Sue works primarily in watercolor, but she also explores acrylic, paper collage, ink and mixed media.  Her paintings are a combination of sensitive realism and expressive abstraction.
